Pupil Premium

The government recognizes that some children are socially disadvantaged and therefore likely to be at risk of underachieving. Research shows that historically children receiving free school meals (FSM) have achieved at significantly lower levels to those not receiving free school meals. In order to reduce this inequality, the school receives additional funding for these children each year in the form of a Pupil Premium grant.

The grant is £1375 for each child who is either currently on FSM or has been at any time whilst at Primary school. This is in addition to main school funding. The school is free to use this money as it sees fit but must be used directly to raise standards for these children.

If you have any further queries regarding Pupil Premium please contact the school office.
